WHAT IS CARE-ITS FOR KIDS?

Care-It’s for Kids is a 501 C3 non-profit organization located in Springfield, Ohio. The organization’s goal is to raise money to support local programs that are helping our area’s challenged children...kids that are victims of abuse or neglect...kids that have, or might, commit criminal offenses... kids that don’t, or may not have the parental support that is so important in their young lives.
WHAT IS THE MONEY USED FOR?
100% of the money raised by Care-It’s for Kids is allocated when there is a need to purchase rewards or enticements for the at-need kids in our local Juvenile Court programs. The fund has supplied such items as sports related items, CD’s/DVD’s, clothing, shoes, theater passes, YMCA memberships, televisions, school supplies, music lessons and much more. Care-It’s for Kids also supports the Clark County Youth Drug Court and the BOYAC program with funds for field trips and other material rewards for kids that successfully complete their probation.
WHY?
All of the items and rewards that Care-It’s for Kids supplies are meant to show these kids that someone cares about them…that they can expect more from life when they put forth positive efforts. More importantly, Care-It’s for Kids supplies the funds only…the Probation or Diversion Officer (or other court official) requests the funds and personally presents the reward or enticement to the teen, hopefully creating a better relationship of trust and respect that will add a positive element to the probation process.

The Clark County Victim-Witness Kid’s Fund
The Clark County Child Advocacy Center
Care-It’s for Kids receives a small amount of money from personal donations but it is through the support of Jeff Wyler Chevrolet and the Jeff Wyler Charity Invitational that supplies 99% of the money available in the fund…and l00% of the proceeds raised from the Jeff Wyler Charity Invitational goes to CIFK…and every penny is used to help the kids! CIFK has no expenses, no paid employees.
